Largest U.S. Operator of the Pilatus PC-24 Eliminates Out of Area Fees for Jet Program
Portsmouth, NH, January 24, 2024: In response to strong demand from the market, PlaneSense, Inc., a leading fractional aircraft ownership company in the U.S., is extending its jet program to private flyers West of the Rockies. By the end of June 2024, Out of Area fees will be eliminated for the PlaneSense® program’s quickly growing Pilatus PC-24 jet fleet, allowing improved access to the fractional program that has been trusted by private flyers since 1995.

Until now, shares in the PlaneSense® jet program have largely been focused East of the Rockies, but clients have increasingly used their shares for flights on the West Coast. Elimination of Out of Area fees makes it a more sensible option for those with a need for reliable, convenient private jet flights to and within the Western U.S. As with the PC-12 program, all 48 states in the continental U.S. and parts of Canada will be served by the PlaneSense® program without restrictions.
Pilatus Aircraft, Ltd, recently extended the payload and range capabilities of the PC-24 jet. The PlaneSense® program took delivery of its first improved PC-24 in December 2023. The company will take delivery of an additional five jets with this improved performance capability in 2024, at which time, one third of the PlaneSense® jet fleet will be comprised of the enhanced aircraft.

In anticipation of the jet expansion and to better serve the growing flight activity in the West, PlaneSense, Inc. established a state-of-the-art maintenance facility in Boulder City, NV in 2021, and expanded it significantly in 2023. The maintenance operation performs expert routine maintenance, inspections, and detailing to safely and quickly return aircraft to service.
Fractional shares in the Pilatus PC-24 jet were first introduced in 2018 when the PlaneSense® program served as the launch customer for the unique super versatile jet. The jets in the program have since flown nearly 36,000 passengers to 850 airports.
