The summer season brings with it the possibility of thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other dangerous weather conditions. While weather can pass through a region quickly, it can leave a path of destruction and airport delays in its wake. These weather conditions often change rapidly and may gain intensity as they’re being pushed through by a cold front. When summer storms are passing near or over an airport, aircraft will not be permitted to take off or land until the storm has passed.
By constantly monitoring FAA NOTAMs, TFRs and weather, we try to stay in front of potential scheduling changes and anticipated travel inconveniences due to weather. We contact owners as soon as we learn about any factors, like summer storms, that may affect flights and offer alternatives, if available.
