PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking a driven, Sales Executive to join our growing team and represent industry-leading private aviation solutions, including our fractional ownership program and CobaltPass offerings. The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing prospective clients while building a sustainable pipeline of new business opportunities.
This role requires a highly professional, consultative sales approach and the ability to generate leads independently, respond strategically to inbound inquiries, and cultivate relationships through outbound business development efforts, including phone, email, in-person meetings, referrals, and industry events. The Sales Executive will effectively position PlaneSense solutions based on each client’s travel needs, with a strong understanding of the PlaneSense fractional ownership program and additional offerings, including CobaltPass Jet Card solutions for the Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of sales plans, revenue targets, and strategic business development objectives established by the VP of Sales and Marketing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client, prospect, and sales activity records within the company CRM system to ensure visibility into sales pipelines, forecasting, and business development efforts
- Maintain proactive, professional communication with assigned PlaneSense Owners, clients, and designated prospects to support relationship development and business growth
- Conduct initial needs assessments with new prospects and maintain consistent follow-up to advance qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Develop and execute strategies to expand owner referral opportunities and generate new business
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to prospective client needs and business objectives
- Prepare timely, accurate, and professional responses to RFPs and other sales proposals, as needed
- Review owner flight activity on a monthly basis to identify evolving travel needs and develop strategies to increase sales of additional shares and related program solutions
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all PlaneSense program agreements and effectively communicate program terms, features, and benefits to prospective and existing clients
- Support and represent PlaneSense at promotional and business development events, including aircraft static displays, client gatherings, golf outings, and other targeted networking opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must to clearly communicate all financial and operational facets of PlaneSense fractional programs
- High level of discipline and self-motivation along with excellent organizational/time management skills
- Comfortable with spending the majority of time making phone calls and sending emails to potential prospects.
- Have a professional and engaging personality with a consultative approach to selling
- Have a well-rounded knowledge of the private aviation industry
- Pilot License is a plus
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum five years sales experience, aviation industry preferred
Computer Skills
- Proficient with sales and marketing CRM tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
