Maintenance Controller – New Hampshire
PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Controller to join the team at its Portsmouth, NH headquarters.
PlaneSense manages and operates a fleet of over 60 Pilatus PC-12 & PC-24 aircraft on behalf of fractional share owners. The available shift is Wednesday-Saturday 5am-3pm.
Maintenance Controllers are responsible for coordinating the maintenance of the fractional program aircraft on a day-to-day basis. This position works alongside our Flight Operations Center which provides guaranteed on-demand service to its fractional share owners within the boundaries of Federal Aviation regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate safe and efficient maintenance on aircraft
- Coordinate maintenance on fleet aircraft with effective communication with vendors, ensure proper manual references are available, Provide technical support to vendors, coordinate parts support with vendor, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Minimum Equipment List, Inspection Program, GMM, GOM and FAA regulations
- Maintain various daily excel spreadsheets, Word document files and the maintenance functions of the scheduling software to track aircraft undergoing inspections and maintenance
- Perform daily audits of the information by FOC, flight crews and aircraft records personnel to ensure the aircraft do not overfly any maintenance intervals called out in the Approved Aircraft Inspection Program
- Ensure that any aircraft records generated by maintenance providers are supplied and forwarded to the aircraft records personnel. These include but are not limited to aircraft flight log entries, maintenance record entries, parts conformance certificates, and FAA form 337’s.
- Provide technical support to flight crews as required
- Able to work at a desk for long periods of time while using numerous computer programs, including Microsoft products Outlook, Excel, Work, etc.
- Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years Turboprop/small Jet powered aircraft maintenance experience
- Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and thereafter submit to DOT mandated random drug and alcohol testing
- Carries or can obtain a valid U.S. Passport for training purposes
- Must pass a background check including a government required fingerprint based criminal history records check.
Education and/or Experience:
- Airframe & Powerplant license
Computer Skills:
- Proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft products Outlook, Excel, Work, etc.
- Proficient in various aviation software including CAMP & Corridor preferred
