Every day, approximately 10% of the population in New Hampshire is food insecure, meaning they do not know where and when their next meal may come. On Thursday, December 14, you will have the opportunity to help PlaneSense take concrete steps to fight hunger in our home state.
Tomorrow, we will be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for needy families across the state to give to the New Hampshire Food Bank just in time for the holiday season. If you bring a donation to our front lobby by the flagpoles at 115 Flightline Road in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, we’ll gratefully accept it. Not only that, but we’ll be happy to show you the hangar and take a photo of you with our planes!
On December 19th, we’ll be flying everything you donate over to Manchester and the New Hampshire Food Bank in one of our PC-12 aircraft. A year ago we collected over 7,000 pounds of food, and we’re looking to deliver even more this year. Donate to help us meet our goal and put food on the tables of your food insecure friends and neighbors.
