Seasonal Support Specialist
PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Support Specialist to join its Flight Operations Center team for the summer!
The Seasonal Support Specialist performs a complete spectrum of aviation-related crew and customer service-oriented tasks within its Flight Operations Center (FOC). This would be a full-time seasonal position from May-August 2025. This is a great opportunity for those looking for summer employment, such as individuals with open availability during school breaks.
The FOC functions as the operational nerve center for PlaneSense, Inc. and Cobalt, LLC. inside of the highly regulated and rapidly changing aviation industry. The primary directive of the Seasonal Support Specialist is to provide logistical and situational awareness support for Owner and Crew Support Representatives. Accurate and complete execution of assigned duties and responsibilities is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Logistical support in the arrangement and management of crew logistics including:
- Accommodations
- Transportation
- Relocation
- Coordination and execution of logistical needs for assigned aircraft including:
- FBO arrival and departure arrangements
- Preliminary review of applicable weather, NOTAMs, and TFRs
- Securement of parking, arrival, and departure slots
- Processing and reviewing flight logs
- Issuing flight itineraries
- Crew rest and duty notifications
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Customer service skills
- English verbal and written skills
- High aptitude for learning
- Driven to contribute
- Personal and professional resilience
- Capable of working assigned shift that may include early mornings and late nights, weekends, and holidays
Education and/or Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year in a service industry preferred
- Minimum 1 year in a direct client facing role preferred
- Aviation and travel experience preferred
Computer Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Windows operating system, internet browsers, and the ability to gain proficiency with complementary additional software
Schedules:
- Sunday – Wednesday 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday – Wednesday 1:30PM – 11:30PM
- Wednesday – Saturday 5:00AM – 3:00PM
- Wednesday – Saturday 1:30PM – 11:30PM
* Qualified candidates must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Portsmouth, NH.
