Primary Operating Area

The PlaneSense Fractional aircraft ownership program charges owners an hourly rate charge, based on occupied flight time inside our Primary Operating Area. No dead legs are charged (empty repositioning) unless the flight is outside the Primary Operating Area, which is defined as:

Primary Operating Area: The continental United States and Canada, excluding Newfoundland, east of ninetyone degrees zero minutes (91°0') west longitude, and south of fortyeight degrees zero minutes (48°0') north latitude, and including so much of the areas of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana as are bordered by thirty-six degrees fifteen minutes (36°15') north latitude, ninety-eight degrees thirty minutes (98°30') west longitude, and twenty-nine degrees zero minutes (29°0') north latitude.

For positioning flights originating or terminating outside of the Primary Operating Area but within the continental United States, a positioning charge shall apply for that portion of the flight time between the airport located outside the Primary Operating Area and ninety-one degrees zero minutes (91°0') west longitude, notwithstanding that the western border of the Primary Operating Area is west of ninety-one degrees zero minutes (91°0') west longitude.
